Reach-4-Greatness Mentoring

Reach-4-Greatness Mentoring Program envisions a community in which every youth experiences a positive, healthy adult-child relationship and community support; this in turn allows each of them to develop their full potential capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community.

 

The mission of the Reach-4-Greatness Mentoring Program is to empower youth in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their personal potential.

THINKING FOR CHANGE

This program helps at-risk and high-risk youth recognize and change harmful thinking patterns and subsequently change behavior. Classes are offered for a variety of age and grade ranges.

M.C.O.P (Mentoring Children of Prisoners)

M.C.O.P is a community based program that matches caring adults from the community with a child that has a parent or guardian that is incarcerated. The mentor will meet the child on a one-on-one basis for approximately 1 hour per week or 4 hours per month depending on your child’s needs or interest.

S.W.A.M. (Students With A Mission)

S.W.A.M. is a program of students mentoring students.  Area high school juniors and seniors meet with 3rd - 6th grade elementary school kids once a week to be a role model, and a friend.
