One By One Rally

The Stay Focused Ministries Christmas Rally is our annual toy give-away for the poor and disadvantaged in our community.  We resource our community partnerships to donate or purchase quality gifts for children of all ages.  5,000 to 8,000 children have benefited by this program each year.  Many impacting testimonies have resulted from this ministry effort.  It is culminated by a presentation of the original “Christmas Story” and its meaning for today. 

The Stay Focused Ministries One-by-One Rally is an annual event to bring the community together (over 5,000 people each year!) with a fun, Gospel oriented outreach. During this event, we perform a variety of services for the community.  We do hair cuts for free, medical exams, talent shows, competitions, raffles for bicycles and other games and activities for children.  Attendees also hear the testimonies of those whose lives have been changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Former gang members share the impact of a choice.  All of this is followed by a testimony and challenge to young people, by SFM founder, Manuel Carrizalez.

Reach 4 Greatness Mentoring Program is a division of Stay Focused aimed at adding a deeper dimension of care for those we reach.  The program was originally funded the a grant from the U.S. Department of Education under the Faith-Based Initiative. Reach 4 Greatness exists to enlist, encourage, equip and empower adults in the church and community to become mentors to youth through school and community-based mentoring.

  1. These are our spontaneous mini-events.  We will target a hard hit part of Bakersfield with food, toys and the Gospel.  This has been tremendously effective in opening up the homes of gang members, and allowing us to provide alternatives for the children in the community.  Our message is that they don’t have to do drugs and lead a life of crime.  The parents have been very responsive and desire their children to have a better life.
